Just after moving here to Thüringen, I started a music group to play some of the music that I love–and provide an outlet for the all the music I’m writing. I’m fortunate to be working now with H.H. Babe on bass, and Manuel Killermann on drums. Martin Gebauer (Drums) and Irene Hallmer on Keyboard have played with us as well, during the Zeulenroda Volksfest (making us briefly the Jeremy Sagala Quartet).
We play a mix of modernized standards, a mix of classic jazz-fusion tunes, and works by myself and H.H. Tasteful improvisation plays a big part of what we do, and there’s plenty of room for each of us to stretch out during solos in a variety of grooves. Each song or groove is individual…but it always grooves. Our set list includes songs by Miles Davis, Coltrane, Billy Cobham, Grant Green, Jeff Beck, The Mahavishu Orchestra, Chick Corea, Larry Carlton, Larry Coryell, and other greats. We hope to see you at an upcoming show!
